This is a beautiful mixed-color set of Kahelelani shells for making authentic Niʻihau shell jewelry. This shell mix can be a wonderful choice for those already comfortable working with tiny Hawaiian shells and looking to create more detailed jewelry designs.
I personally work with many size 11 Kahelelani shells and often use them for single-strand designs, Heliconia, Kipona, and both two-strand and four-strand Poepoe styles, sometimes combined with Momi shells. These shells are also lovely for delicate shell lei, minimalist earrings, and small pendant designs.
