This is one of my very favorite design of Niihau shell lei. This tree strands Momi and Kahelelani shells made with love and aloha! This beautiful tree strands lei create in two different patters.

The first pattern is pikake style. The Momi shells used to create this part of the lei have very unique color and very hard to find. The Momi shells use to create this lei is blue uliuli which is very hard to find. It’s one of the rarest color of Niihau shells use in Niihau shell jewelry. The next color is yellow Momi lenalena, black dots Momi ‘ōnikiniki ‘ele‘ele, brown dots Momi ‘ōnikiniki ‘āhiehie, golden Momi kahakaha ‘āhiehie, white Momi ke‘oke‘o maika‘i.

The highlight of this lei is heliconia style that use very nice color of black Kahelelani ‘ele‘ele, pink Kahelelani ‘ākala pua, green Kahelelani ‘ōma‘oma‘o, red burgundy Kahelelani ‘ula‘ula, natural color Kahelelani ke‘oke‘o, yellow Kahelelani kamoa lenalena, yellow Kahelelani kamoa ‘ili‘ālani , chocolate Kahelelani shells to accent.
