Poking tool for Momi, Kahelelani, Laiki shells (NIihau shell jewelry making poking tool)

This is a handmade tool designed to poke the Momi, Laiki and Kahelelani shells used in creating beautiful Hawaiian Heirloom jewelry. This tool is hard to find and will save you many hours (and painful pokes!).

The needle is of a high quality spring steel and with a file, can be re-sharpened when necessary. The handle is solid Teak, comfortable to hold, and built to last! Please note: the wood patterns and color of the teak are random and cannot be ordered based on individual preference. I have commissioned a woodworker to make these tools for myself and my customers.
