This is a listing for Laiki shells, one of the traditional shell types used in Niʻihau shell jewelry. This set contains a mix of quality levels—some shells have beautiful high luster, while others may have a softer, more matte finish. All are good quality and can be used for creating jewelry such as earrings, bracelets, or lei.
Origin of Shells: Niʻihau
Quantity: Approximately 1 2/3 film canisters (around 300 shells per canister)
Quality: Un-poked, mixed grade (some with high luster, some with less)
Size: Mixed sizes
Please zoom in to examine the quality of the shells before purchasing. The colors may look slightly different in person depending on your monitor resolution and screen settings. I always do my best to photograph each set in lighting that shows the closest true color using my digital camera. I never adjust the colors to look lighter or darker than they are in person.
