These authentic Niʻihau shell earrings are crafted in the classic Poepoe style, where each tiny shell is strung close together to form a rounded, elegant design. Petite at 1" long, this pair is light, comfortable, and easy to wear while carrying the timeless beauty of Niʻihau shell artistry.
In Hawaiian, Keʻokeʻo refers to “white,” but in Kahelelani shells it’s often what I call the natural color — a creamy shade with delicate pink bands circling around the shell. It’s the most common hue found on Niʻihau, loved for its soft, natural warmth that blends beautifully with other tones.
