This Kahelelani shell supply from Niʻihau features a lively mix of creamy whites, soft pinks, warm reds, and naturally speckled tones, just as shown in the photo. Collected from several beaches on Niʻihau, the shells show beautiful natural variation, with some displaying deeper colors and a matte finish, while others have a bright, high luster that adds contrast and interest.

Size 13 remains a perfect size for beginner start, offering enough shell surface to clearly see patterns and color variation while still being easy to handle for learning and practice.

If you are interested in creating a Manuʻa Loa style, this set can form approximately 6" in length, using about 17 shells per inch. For a Poepoe style with four strands, expect to use around 50 shells per inch, making this smaller set ideal for beginners who want to practice layout, spacing, and shell flow before committing to larger projects.

As with all of my loose shell sets, I include a few extra shells in case any show slight natural imperfections. Every set is carefully sorted and inspected, and the extra shells are added to give you peace of mind while creating.
