This is a listing of Laiki shells, one of the most commonly used shells in traditional Hawaiian lei, especially Niʻihau wedding lei. Known as "rice shells" due to their shape—long and narrow like a grain of rice—these beautiful shells are also frequently used in Niʻihau shell jewelry.
The natural color of these is an off-white tone. Most Laiki shells have a beautiful luster, adding a subtle shine to your jewelry pieces.
Origin of Shells: Niʻihau
