This is a list of Laiki shells. Laiki shells are one of the common use Hawaiian seashells for Niihau wedding lei. The Laiki shells or Rice shells, it have the shape like grains of rice. These Laiki shells also common use in Niihau shell jewelry. Individual shell measures approximately 9 mm in length and 5 mm in diameter.
The Laiki shells usually come in vary color, most will be found in yellow and light brown. Pearl white and blue Momi shells are unique color and they are harder to find. Most of Laiki shells have very beautiful luster. This set of Laiki shells most are white color.
