This is one of my best-selling earring designs of all time — and it’s easy to see why! The elegant Kipona-style spiral blends timeless island beauty with everyday comfort. The Hawaiian word kipona means “combination,” and this design captures that spirit by weaving shells together in a graceful two-strand spiral. The result is a flowing, braided look with soft movement and lasting elegance.
Each pair is handcrafted with off-white Momi shells (モミシェル) from Niʻihau, prized for their natural luster and glow, paired with brown and burgundy Kahelelani shells (カヘレラニ シェル) from Kauaʻi, which add warm, matte tones for contrast. Together, they create a balanced, eye-catching design that feels at home at a craft fair, a lunch date, or simply bringing a touch of aloha to your day.
