This four strand Kahelelani and Momi Poepoe ombré pendant is handmade with shells from Niʻihau, thoughtfully arranged to create a smooth, flowing transition of color. The Poepoe pattern moves gently through layered tones, blending naturally from one shade to the next in a way that feels lively yet well balanced.
This necklace is created using very hard-to-find colors of both Momi and Kahelelani shells, carefully selected over time. Because of the rarity of these shells and the intention behind the design, this piece is truly one of a kind. I will only create one piece in this exact design, to keep the work unique and to honor the customer who chooses it — knowing they are the only one who will ever own this specific necklace.
