This is a beautiful set of mixed color Kahelelani shells from Niʻihau Island. These shells are very small (size 10) and come in a variety of natural shades. I often use this size when making heliconia-style earrings with 6mm Momi shells, placing two Kahelelani shells side by side to neatly hide the string. This technique gives a clean, polished finish to the design.
I also use this size of shell in my plumeria-style earrings, which you can see among my sold items for inspiration.
Note: The heliconia-style earrings shown in the photos are not included in this listing. They are meant to show how the shells can be used. Momi shells shown are 6mm, and Kahelelani shells are size 10.
