This is a complete Niʻihau Shell Lei Kit — perfect for anyone ready to create their own herringbone-style Kahelelani shell lei. Everything you need is included in this listing:

300 Kahelelani shells (keʻokeʻo with some light green hue, size 14 and up)

1 poking tool (medium length – also works well for Momi shells)

2 puka shells (for finishing the clasp)

Nylon string (enough for an 18" lei)

This shell set is enough to make at least an 18" herringbone-style lei. For reference, you’ll use around 16 shells per inch when making this style.
The herringbone-style lei shown in the photo is included with this kit as a sample of what you can create using these shells.
