❤️Back in the Flow❤️
After a week full of tech updates, credit card hiccups, and website quirks (if you read my last blog, you know the story), I’m happy to say everything is finally running smoothly again. It feels so good to be back in the flow without worrying if something behind the scenes is going to surprise me next!
Running a small business is never boring — there’s always a new challenge waiting — but the love and support from all of you makes it more than worth it.
Packing with Aloha :)
One of my favorite parts of this work is packing your orders. I love hunting for beautiful mailers, because if I were ordering something special, I’d want to receive it in perfect condition and open it to find everything looking just as beautiful as it did on the website when I placed my order.
It’s very important to me that when my customers receive their package, they feel the aloha right away.
A Shell’s Journey
Whether I’m sending out jewelry or loose shells, packing day feels like saying goodbye to my shells as they head off to their new home. I take my time wrapping each one so it’s as beautiful as the shells themselves deserve.
My hope is that when the new owner opens the package, it brings warmth to their heart — and they welcome my shells into their home or use them to create something beautiful and meaningful to pass on to the next generation.
Grateful Beyond Words
I’m truly grateful for every order and for the trust you place in my work. It means so much to know that the jewelry and shells I create with genuine Niʻihau and Kauaʻi shells — always made with plenty of aloha — will be part of your home, your gifts, or your own creations.

➡️ Coming up next: We’ll dive deeper into the incredible colors of Kahelelani shells — what they mean, how rare they are, and how I choose them for my jewelry. Get ready to explore the rainbow, one shell at a time! This post will be updated around Thursday or Friday, so please check back to see what you can learn about the colors of Kahelelani shells.
Share Your Story⭐

With aloha and gratitude,
Janjira
