These Niʻihau shell earrings are created in the traditional Pikake style using genuine Momi shells accented with small Kahelelani shells. The familiar Pikake arrangement is one of the most recognized designs in Niʻihau shell jewelry, admired for its natural balance and timeless beauty. This pair carries a gentle Hawaiian tropical inspiration that reflects the charm of authentic Hawaiian shell jewelry (ハワイアンジュエリー).
The Momi shells show a soft blend of off-white Keʻokeʻo tones with a delicate light blue ocean undertone. Many of the shells also display natural brown spotted markings known as ʻŌnikiniki ʻĀhiehie, giving the earrings a lively and organic character.
