This is a double strand Niihau shell lei. It is as unique as it is colorful! I spent many hours on just the design alone. To create this lei, I used Momi lenalena, light blue and white Momi shells highlighted with a kaleidoscope of Kahelelani shells., red-burgundy, black, dark pink, light pink and the very elusive, near impossible to find, dark green! 

Every shell, whether Momi or kahelelani, is of magnificent quality and the highest of luster. These are the most prized and colorful shells Niihau (and mother nature) has to offer. This truly is a one-of-a-kind statement piece.
