18" Niʻihau Momi & Kahelelani Shell Lei – Kipona Style #2026

This handcrafted Kipona style shell lei brings together Momi and Kahelelani shells in a beautiful twisting design. Each section is carefully arranged to create a natural flow throughout the lei while highlighting the beauty, shape, and natural markings of the shells.

The combination creates a one-of-a-kind piece that brings together traditional Hawaiian shell lei craftsmanship with my own interpretation of the Kipona style.

For the finishing touch, you can choose a traditional brown granulated cowrie shell clasp, a 14K gold-filled safety clasp, or a 14K solid gold safety clasp. Each option gives the lei a slightly different finished look and overall length.

• Clasp Options:
 — Brown granulated cowrie shells: Adds approximately 2" to the lei, making the overall length approximately 18".
 — 14K gold-filled safety clasp: I will add a couple more sets of shells before attaching the clasp, bringing the finished overall length to approximately 17 1/2".
 — 14K solid gold safety clasp: I will add a couple more sets of shells before attaching the clasp, bringing the finished overall length to approximately 17 1/2".
