19" Niʻihau Momi & Kahelelani Kipona Style Lei with Sunrise Shell #2028

This handcrafted Kipona style shell lei brings together beautiful Momi and Kahelelani shells with a colorful Sunrise shell pendant. The Momi shells create a soft, natural combination of off-white with subtle light blue undertones and touches of pale yellow, while the colorful Kahelelani section leads into the sunrise shell at the center.

The sunrise shell adds a beautiful focal point with deep green and warm golden-yellow coloring. The yellow is a rich, warm shade with a slight golden-orange tone and is close to the yellow color of the  thumbs-up emoji you see when typing on your phone, which gives an easy reference for what the color looks like in person.

The combination of colors and shell varieties creates a one-of-a-kind piece that brings together traditional Hawaiian shell lei craftsmanship with my own interpretation of the Kipona style.
